Our High-Performance Computing (HPC) laboratory, established to strengthen the research infrastructure of our Department of Computer Engineering and support projects requiring data-intensive computation, provides users with a powerful and flexible working environment. The system features 8 NVIDIA A100 GPUs and 2 TB of system memory (RAM), creating an ideal platform for computationally intensive tasks such as deep learning, big data analytics, image processing, and similar operations, thanks to its high memory capacity and parallel processing power.
This setup, based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, is managed using Docker container technology, offering each user an isolated and customizable working environment. The system provides a user-friendly experience through the Jupyter Notebook interface, allowing for seamless coding, data analysis, and visualization all within a single platform.
This robust infrastructure offers researchers high efficiency and flexibility, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence and deep learning applications, computational science projects, biomedical signal processing, and natural language processing. Our HPC system significantly contributes to executing academic and scientific projects in a faster, more reliable, and scalable manner.
